At the valedictory session, Ms. N.S. Nappinai, Senior Advocate at the Supreme Court, highlighted gaps in India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, particularly the lack of an effective “right to be forgotten.” She urged adaptive legal frameworks to address privacy, choice, and virtual crimes, including in the metaverse.
